Hi guys.. It’s me again on my second part of Hong Kong Beauty Haul. In this article, the product that I bought is more like drugstore products. So, most of them are cheaper than my first part of Hong Kong Beauty Haul. By the way, check them out if you haven’t read them. http://beautyafest.com/hong-kong-beauty-haul-part-1/
Without too much rambling, so here’s my part 2 of Hong Kong Beauty Haul. Enjoy!
1. Little Rabbit Nose Pores Strips
Miniso has really taken over Asian. Just like in Indonesia, Miniso has many stores in Hong Kong. Their beauty line is far wider than in Indonesia. Apart from brushes and sponges, they have makeup and skincare. I was very intrigue by this 3 steps Little Rabbit Nose Pores Strips. I purchased it for 19.90 HKD in (IDR 36.000) Miniso Nathan Road. It contains 4 pcs of 3 step kit pores strips. The first step is to clean the nose. The second one is to pull out blackhead. Lastly, the third is for pores tightening.
2. Crayon Touch-me Eye Bags Pencil
Lately I have been into Korean aegyo-sal makeup. This technique of makeup is using a highlighter in the inner eye bags. I usually use eyeshadow to achieve that, but I found that Miniso has a special pencil for that. It costs only 15 HKD (IDR 27.000). It is very very cheap right? So I guess it is nothing to lose to try it. Based on swatching in the store, this pencil gives a vibrant color so that I don’t have to tug.
3. Shiseido Eyelash Curler 213
I have been wanting to buy a great eyelash curler. After browsing for the best curler on Youtube, I finally choose this Shiseido Eyelash Curler. Gladly, I can find it in Sasa. I purchased it for 72 HKD ( IDR 130.000) in Sasa Lockhart Road, but you can also find it in any Sasa in Hong Kong. This eyelash curler is really great, even for my straight and short eyelashes. It is also easy to use and doesn’t clamp my eyelid.
4. Color Combos 3D Beauty Blender
I found it by accident is Sasa Citygate. The store was packed. It was hard to look around. However, the tools section was less crowded. Then, I found this Color Combos 3D Beauty Blender laying in between brushes. For what I can see, the texture seems similar to the original Beauty Blender. It seems porous and spongy. Plus, it costs only 45 HKD (IDR 81.000). I haven’t used it, but now that I can touch it, it is actually not as spongy as Beauty Blender. However, it does get twice bigger when I wet it. It seems bouncy enough to apply foundation.
5. Canmake Color Mixing Concealer 02
If you like watching Pony makeup on Youtube, you will know that this Canmake Color Mixing Concealer is her favorite. As a woman who can’t walk out the house without concealer, I feel like I have to try it. This concealer costs 82 HKD (IDR 150.000) in Sasa Citygate. I know that there are many cheaper concealers with great coverage and longevity, such as Maybelline Fit Me and my trustworthy The Saem Tip Concealer. But, I really wanted to try it. Among 4 shade options, I chose number 02. It has three shade, which features light, natural, and dark shades. It also provides an empty palette so that we can mix the concealer to get the shade that we want.
6. SK-II Facial Treatment Essence
Who doesn’t know SK-II FTE? It is by far the most talked about essence that I’ve ever known. Many people compliment this product. I have always wanted to try, but the price tag threw me off. But, I am always up for mini or deluxe size product. When I saw that Sasa Citygate sold this mini size SK-II FTE for 138 HKD (IDR 248.000) , I thought what the heck, is it original? However, since Sasa is the biggest drugstore in Hong Kong, I believe that they sell original product only (or I wish they do). This small size contains 30 ml of product. I guess it can last up to a month if I use it everyday.
7. Yuagari Suppin Powder
I bought this powder unintentionally in some random drugstore around Lockhart Road. At that time, my sister was in line to buy discounted Nature Republic Aloe Vera Gel, which was only 35 HKD. Having nothing to do, I was looking around the drugstore. Then, I found this Yuagari Suppin Powder among the display of sheet masks. I only heard about this powder once in Youtube, but the reviewer said that it was good. So, I snatched this 88 HKD (IDR 158.000) and gave it to my sister to pay. This Yuagari Suppin is a pressed translucent powder. The powder is finely milled and very soft. You can use it for setting your foundation or concealer. However, beware that it has a strong flower smell.
8. Banila co Clean it Zero
Just one step away from that drugstore where I bought Yuagari, I found another random drugstore that sold Banila co Clean it Zero. I have tried Heimish Cleansing Balm and I loved it, but I almost run out of it. So, I decided to buy it. In that drugstore, it cost around 80 HKD (IDR 144.000). I think the price is similar to those in Korea. Banila co Clean it Zero is a cleansing balm. I usually use it on the first step of my triple cleansing routine (only when I wear a full face of makeup). The balm melts in my skin as I messaged it. Then, I use tissue or hand towel to rubbed it off.
9. Crest 3D White Brilliance Toothpaste
This last product I bought because I was really curious. Many people who have tried this toothpaste said that it whitened their teeth. Even some famous Youtubers swear by this Crest 3D White Brilliance Toothpaste. I was kind of shock to see the price tag. It was sold for 49.90 HKD (90.000 IDR) in Mannings Plus Cannon St Causeway Bay. I mean, really, almost 100K for a toothpaste? With that money, I can buy a year supply of toothpaste if bought a cheaper one. Anyway, long story short, I bought it. I haven’t tried it, but I hope it really whiten my teeth.
