Korean Beauty Haul

Korean Beauty Haul

My sisters just went back from Korea and brought me a handful of beauty products. I am so excited to try them, especially the Pony Effect products, since I haven’t tried one. Besides that, I also bought some Korean beauty product in Indonesia and online stores.  So, without further ado, here’s my Korean beauty haul.

  1. Pony Effect Everlasting Cushion Foundation SPF 50+/PA+++

I really wanted to try Pony Effect Everlasting Cushion Foundation for so long, but it was so hard to find it in Indonesian online store. I haven’t found one that sells this product. So, when my sisters and mother in law brought me this cushion, I am really happy. I love watching Pony in Youtube. My makeup style is often influenced by her. When I knew that Pony has a cosmetic line, I wanted to try each one of them. I think its packaging is so elegant. It is on the expensive side, though. It is around 35 USD. Unlike any other Korean cushion foundation, Pony Effect has square packaging with magnetic closure. At a glance, the color of the packaging reminds me of YSL Cushion Foundation. When I first saw it, I thought the packaging would be heavy. Turns out it is really light because it is made from plastic. Out of seven shades that they offer, the one that suits me the most is #25 Sand, which is sadly the deepest shade in their collection.

2. Pony Effect Metallic Matte Lip Color in shade #lovesick

With every purchase of Pony Effect Everlasting Cushion Foundation, customer gets one deluxe size of Pony Effect Metallic Matte Lip Color. At first I thought that I wouldn’t wear such deep color, but it turns out that the color is very beautiful. It is magenta with metallic finish. It is a bold color yet it look soft. I don’t know how to describe it. I like to wear it on my inner lips only for a gradient effect. I am so glad that they give this lipstick freely. The regular size of this Matte Lip Color costs around 21 USD.

3. Pony Memebox Shine Easy Glam 3 in #02 Pink Bloom

I don’t have any small eyeshadow palette that I can carry on for traveling. This one is in perfect size. The color selection is also great for everyday use. However, it is just lack of matte colors. But, it seems very usual for Korean eyeshadow palette as they prefer glittery eyeshadow over matte one. The quad in the palette are pink, beige, deep pink, and brown. The color is not as pigmented as western brand eyeshadow, but it is good enough. You can also wear the beige color as a highlighter.

4. Nature Republic Moringa Handcream

This hand cream smells really good. I like the smell of moringa. Besides that, I wanted to start using hand cream on a daily basis. My hand is very dry. My skin is even peeled near my nails. I hope that this hand cream can protect my hands.

5. Nature Republic and Innisfree Sheet Masks

Sheet Masks

I haven’t tried any Nature Republic sheet mask before. So far, any sheet mask that I have tried makes my skin itchy. Maybe I am allergic to some ingredients. Let’s see if these are good.

6. Innisfree My Blusher 01

Innisfree My Blusher

The last two products I bought in Indonesia. I purchased Innisfree My Blusher because I was looking for a peachy orange blush that is easy to travel with. This blush is just perfect for its color and size. The color is so pretty. It can take away dullness in my face.

7. Son & Park Beauty Water

I almost ran out of Muji Toner. I discontinued using Muji because it gives no impact to my skin. It feels and looks similar whether I use Muji Toner or straight to serum after cleansing. So, I decided to try Son & Park Beauty Water. I purchased the small one because I am afraid that it doesn’t work for me. I always try small size first before committing to a big one.
